Task 1 critical analysis on experimental video and exhibition UNIT 34: P1,M1,D1

Task 2 Exhibition plan and Pre-production UNIT 34: P2,M2,D2

2.1 Pre production paper work required for submission

  • 1 Treatment
  • 2 Storyboards inc Animatic or Photomatic
  • 3 Scripts (if the production has dialog)
  • 4 Shooting schedule
  • 5 Call Sheet
  • 6 Risk Assessment
2.2 Exhibition/installation plan
  • 1 Synopsis of your installation.
  • 2 Detailed layout/plan
  • 3 Health and safety form for space you are exhibiting
  • 4 A questionnaire/form
2.3 The production and post-production diary (this should go onto your blog)
  • Written diary or,
  • Video Diary or
  • Audio Diary or.
Task 3 The post-production UNIT 34, P3,M3,D3
  • You will need to export a final copy onto DVD and a small web sized copy into the thaw space of the mac you are working on. All tapes and DVD's need to be marked with your name, Group and title of the work

Task 4 Installation production, feedback and Evaluation UNIT 34: P4,M4,D4

  • Install your experimental video into the planned space from Task 2.2.
  • Record the audience and the installation as evidence of the event. This can take the form of a video post.
  • Interview the people viewing the work, either by questionnaire or as a video/audio vox pop This should go onto your blog.
  • Final evaluation of your video and installation. no less than 400 words.

Task 4 Installation production, feedback and Evaluation

Install your experimental video into the planned space from Task 2.2.

You will need to record the audience and the installation as evidence of the event. This can take the form of a video post.

You will need to interview the people viewing the work, either by questionnaire or as a video/audio vox pop.

Deadline for installation (12/12/08)

Finally you will need to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your video and installation. This should be done using no less than 400 words.

You need to discuss what has been produced,
how is it similar/ different from what you had planned,
Was the reading of you video by the audience the one you intended? if not why not?
Is there anything you would do differently next time?

This will need to be on you blog by Wednesday 17th December.

Task 3 The post-production

Conduct postproduction on your experimental video. The post-production stage will need to be conducted within college and during production lessons and done on your own; Any soundtrack needs to be copyright free, and credited in the credits of the video. (Unit 34 P3,M3,D3)
